One of the biggest hallucinations today is thinking models are "nerfed" after a few weeks. This is sometimes true. We saw with Seedance 2.0 when they let it go viral with real people and saw a shitstorm of legal blowback from Big IP, but for most models it generally nonsense. Other times companies do swap models in the background under load. All true. But usually it's something else. Reality setting in. The problem is that after a few weeks of use you notice how NOT human models are and how NOT AGI as they stumble in familiar ways. They felt like magic when you first tried them and in many ways they are but after a few weeks, it's like any relationship, you start to see the warts.
