Junior QB Sloan Guillory @SloanGuilloryQb sparked the rally with 137 passing yards and a touchdown, while senior WR Blaise Moberg and RB Aaron Albrecht chipped in key scores to fuel the Lions’ surge. For Holy Cross, sophomore QB Rocky Orozco @rocky_qb9 and RB Taylor Flores again showed flashes, but the Knights couldn’t protect their early cushion and fell to 0–2 after dominating these same matchups last season. Lake Country Christian returns 16 starters from a state quarterfinal squad and looks ready to seize the crown after finishing third last year.
