The death has taken place of Professor Conor Ward (UCD 1946), former Professor of Paediatrics at UCD and retired Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Cardiologist at CHI Crumlin. May he rest in peace.

The IBTS has announced the import today of a consignment of blood from the NHSBT in England to address current shortage in blood supply. 210 units of Rh Negative blood groups (O, A and B) and 200 units of A positive are being collected in Manchester today.
