@lili_byte I've done it on a few boards, but it's not super easy. On the boards I tried it on, if there were a bunch of burn marks around the chip, the traces were way too damaged.

This will make the headphone jack work, and the speaker will be very very quiet, but at least it works! #badgelife

If your @defcon badge lets out its smoke, here is a workaround. Use a hot air station to remove the audio chip (the burnt one) *solder jumper from capacitor to resistor. *solder jumper from audio jack to ground on USB. #defcon30

@lili_byte If the traces on the board are not badly damaged, you can replace the amplifier chip using a hot air station.
