Seeing geese in bristol tonight, my bf has bought £20 worth of biltong and is making me carry it like a mule, transporting it across cities, this morning he’s panicking saying “what if they don’t let us in with all this biltong”

Fun fact: the scene with Garland and the little girl was 6 minutes long in the original cut. When we previewed it a woman stood up during the scene, looked back where we were sitting and yelled, “Why are you doing this to us?!” We trimmed it down.

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

Started Scarpetta last night. Amount of ad breaks is ridiculous. Timed it at one point because it was so disruptive: 6 minutes between the breaks

today i was reminded of the existence of The Defiant, a supergroup consisting of members of (among others) Smash Mouth, The Offspring, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, all of whom got fired from their main bands for refusing to get vaccinated

I've started Scarpetta and I'm not all the way through the first episode and it was one of the worst shows I've seen. Every cliche welcome!

@arthur_spirling I took one in NJ in 1995. It was on a course, no other cars. There was a Stop sign and a humpback bridge with skid marks on it. I asked what happened and my examiner said 'someone lost it this morning'. When I moved back to the UK I had to actually learn how to drive again.

You cannot really appreciate this until you also get your drivers license in the U.S. “Stop and the stop sign and then park at the curb. Sure, now when does the test begin? Oh I passed it?”
