I’ve had an epiphany about Memphis being in The American - why do we wanna leave at this point? Beyond the obvious of weak opponents which affects home attendance? Non-conference schedule is ridiculously loaded, we have a solid TV deal, and we can relish in where we are versus striving to compete with budgets we simply don’t have.
Re-establish the tradition & brand of Memphis basketball by retaining local talent, and attendance will somewhat take care of itself, if we can compete first half of the season. So will our NCAA tourney bid.

The NBA needs to fine the Grizzlies for this disgraceful display of basketball tonight.
They have only six players, really only five since Dariq Whitehead has barely played, going up against a Jazz team who was already fined for “tanking.”
Utah is up 40… This is awful.
