I gave my car to the mechanic to fix some things and while test-driving the car, he hit another vehicle causing serious damage to the car, which required replacement of the tyre, repairs and repainting on the body. In the end, I spent a little above 200k.
Should I still pay him his workmanship for the original work?

Gov without a state has outlined 10 key changes to the Bank Verification Number (BVN) set to take effect from May 1, 2026.
2: They are as follows:
-(a): Mobile banking apps will be restricted to one device at a time.
-(b): logging in on a new device will automatically log out the previous device.
-(c): Switching devices will require additional verification before access is granted.
-(d): Suspicious BVNs will be placed on a 24 hour watchlist.
-(e): Banks may temporarily restrict or freeze accounts linked to flagged BVNs.
-(f): customers can only change their BVN-linked phone number ONCE. Yahoo boys and girls note.
-(g): the rule targets SIM-Swap fraud and unauthorized access.
-(h): only individuals aged 18 and above can enroll for BVN
(i): Minors must operate accounts under a guardian.
-(j): transactions on newly activated devices will be capped at N20,000 within the first 24 hours.

When I tell you some of these feminists will throw you under the bus just because you’re Yoruba, the hatred that they have for you as a Yoruba woman, you don’t want to know. She literally called us an animal and even inserted colourism at a point! For how long will we keep quiet about this? This is why we are telling skit makers and movie actors to stop portraying Yoruba women in such negative stereotype. We don’t find it funny! Yoruba women aren’t loose, dirty or ugly. We are one of the most fashion forward, beautiful and educated women in Nigeria. We care about our health and we’re not automatic infection carriers like it’s been portrayed on here. My question is, what did we do to deserve this??? We are just fun loving people that likes to achieve great things and celebrate with owanbe, wearing our gele and aso ofi. I had some bank issues, so I ended up paying my staff salaries today. None of them acknowledged or said thank you except my house cleaner. I didn’t even see it as a big deal (especially since I added a lil extra for the inconvenience),one still asked if I had increased her salary
