So I'm unfollowing influencers I mostly agree with because they can't stop rage-baiting garbage from unreliable accounts in every reply. If I hate something, why reshare it? That just spreads poison. If you're truly mad, stop amplifying it. Putting on a performance in order to be paid for engagement at the followers emotional expense? Pass.

The illegal immigration issue is not difficult or complex or nuanced. If they came here illegally, they need to leave. That's it. End of story. "But what if they've been here for 10 years???" They need to leave. "But what if they haven't committed any other crimes???" Leave. "But what if they have a family???" Leave. This isn't hard at all. We have laws in this country. You broke the law. You don't belong here. Nothing personal. But get the hell out. It should not be hard for elected Republicans to articulate this point. If they do have trouble articulating it -- if they take any position on illegal immigration except for this -- they can also go. That's not complicated either.

Tesla self-driving saves a lot of lives – the statistics are unequivocal. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, of course. Even when we improve safety 10X, saving 90% of the million lives lost in auto accidents every year, Tesla will still get sued for the 10% who did die. The 90% who are still alive mostly won’t even know that Tesla saved them. Nonetheless, it is the right thing to do.

Here’s why… - Virality of content/ strength of algorithm - Inherently social in design - Less banning/ demonetization risk - Emphasis on video - Speed of platform innovation - @elonmusk understands the power of podcasts YouTube and Spotify will fight for the 2 spot. (To keep up, Spotify will need to invest heavily in video, programmatic advertising, and a strong algorithm for suggesting content, but they seem willing to do this.) Apple Podcasts, who at one point had virtually 100% of the space, will be in the 4 spot. Huberman Lab podcast (via @hubermanlab) will soon put more content and more of an emphasis on 𝕏. If you’re a podcaster, I recommend doing the same and investing in growing your audience on 𝕏. And if you don't yet do video, figure that out tomorrow.

It’s amazing how many people on this platform have clearly never watched a real negotiation with a terrorist regime or any terrorist entity for that matter. This isn’t sunshine and rainbows. I’ve seen zero concern over that, they’ve also been sending 12 year olds to be cannon fodder. Spare me the outrage. And to those immediately spiraling into “this means nuclear war,” please chill and relax a little. All this literally is ending a future nuclear threat. Not every hard-line equals global catastrophe. That’s not how this works. You’ve grown so used to watching terrorist pandering that you don’t even recognize what resolve looks like. The regime are paper tigers let them fold or make a choice that will lead to their ultimate demise. As Winston Churchill put it, “We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it.”
