@XenBH Speed of iteration is real. But most of that DeFi ecosystem runs on unauditable smart contracts with no institutional rails. Velocity without guardrails is just creative destruction aimed at your own users.

The New York Stock Exchange was founded in 1792. It took until 2024 to move from T+2 to T+1 settlement. That's 232 years to shave off one day. DeFi went from concept to a $100B+ ecosystem in under 5 years. We now have AMMs, flash loans, perpetual swaps, composable stablecoins etc. All built from scratch and all completely novel. What new things came out of the legacy financial system in the last 5 years? I can’t think of anything. When one system iterates 100x faster than the other, the gap in capability compounds quickly. There are already products onchain that have no tradfi equivalent. There will be a lot more. The speed differential is what matters and that’s a key reason to be building here.

@RWAwatchlist_ Most RWA projects are tokenizing the asset. The actual margin is in replacing the prime broker that settles it. 50 back-office analysts doing Excel math is the real cost center.

Mostly agree with them What we’ve discovered: web3 teams are launching “another dex, perp, lending, etc” Current giants in the industry cemented the space. For a long time blockchain was blocking developers from innovation. RWA & AI is shifting this paradigm. We anticipate a new set of innovative products are going to launch in the coming 2 years. Where blockchain is not the place, rather an instrument to give global access. 👉👈 Tilt Protocol is one of these innovations. We give access to AI Hedge Funds and quants to launch the fund and retail to get exposure to these strategies. Something that wasn’t possible before RWA+AI
