@timatping @julianfaceless Bought 10 IPs from PingProxies. All 10 IPs failed all 3 tests. Requested Customer support to replace, got a response that only refund can be provided. So go customer service but not really ideal proxies.

If you don't verify your proxies the way I'm about to show you, YouTube will keep suppressing your channels. I had to learn this the hard way. But that ends for you today. Everyone says proxy setup is for advanced operators only. With YouTube's 2025 updates? I'm starting to disagree. Complete beginner? Bookmark this for later. But this is quickly becoming the norm for faceless. First: which providers? Decodo, proxy-cheap, Ping Proxies → all solid. Key is you reach out and specify: fresh, 0 fraud, RESIDENTIAL connection type. I avoid Webshare, Oxylabs. Haven't had good experiences. When providers tell you 'IP checkers like fraudlogix and ipqualityscore are unreliable' → ignore that. They will say this. In my experience, IP checkers have saved me countless times. But even after you get your proxies, stay skeptical. Verify everything. Skip this step = launching channels on bad proxies = terminations. I tested this (not intentionally lol). 20 bad proxies. 8 channels terminated within a week. Here's my exact 3-step verification process: Step 1 → ipqualityscore .com Choose "Very Strict" strictness level. Your IP check should be as strict as possible. Fraud Score must be 0. Not 15. Not 5. Zero. Proxy, VPN, TOR, Recent Abuse = must be all false. Shows 'green' but fraud score is 35 (or ANYTHING above 0)? Trash it. You don't know what caused it and you don't wanna find out. Step 2 → fraudlogix .com Connection Type MUST say 'Residential'. Corporate CAN work, but not as good. Shocking how many 'residential' proxies show up as corporate here. If an IP fails ANY of these → ask your provider to swap it out. ONLY if the proxy passes step 1 and 2 should you even bother with step 3: Step 3 → browserscan .net Open inside your antidetect browser (Multilogin or AdsPower) with that proxy. Browser authenticity should be 100%. 97%? Usually a DNS leak. Ask provider to fix. Not critical, but you want it as high as possible. One clean private residential IP per channel = almost zero issues + normal growth. Stop using cheap datacenter proxies. Stop using 'pay-per-GB' residential plans. Recycled garbage + expensive at scale. Use dedicated residential proxies that are 100% private. Fresh IPs only. Ask for 'virgin/unused IPs' or don't bother. Save this. Will save you months of dead channels. All attached screenshots show you all you need, couldn't be bothered tryna make it look beautiful. TLDR: If your proxies' check results match the attached screenshots, you're good! P.S. follow me and get this tweet to 1k likes + 100 retweets in 24 hours and I'll drop my current go-to proxy provider (not mentioned in this tweet). Happy New Year!

Founder at Ping here 👋 Appreciate the mention and glad to see benefit from the additional work we do to maintain high quality pools. Broadly agree with most of this. IP scoring tools can be useful signals, but it is worth remembering that Google ultimately relies on its own internal systems, which none of us can see. One small disagreement: the idea that every proxy must be completely “unused.” In reality, if a provider claims every IP has never touched anything, they are probably lying to you. Selling only truly virgin IPs at scale is not a sustainable business model, and subnetting makes it even harder. What matters more is how actively the pools are maintained. We constantly cycle out subnets that start to perform poorly and keep our pools broadly fresh and stable. If anyone buys from us and finds the initial IPs do not align with the checks listed here, open a ticket within 24 hours, reference this thread, and we are happy to replace as long as you are purchasing 10+ IPs. For larger teams, we also offer dedicated whole subnets that meet this criteria✅

@iamvkymunir @julianfaceless Looks like all tickets have been replied to and are awaiting response😀 FYI for large orders its worth opening a ticket prior to purchase to check we have stock as we have relatively low numbers of these types of IPs.

@skillsnify @julianfaceless I wouldn't worry about it being 'virgin' in my experience. Scoring websites remain a good indicator though.

I'm stuck. I sold 13 ad spots, but TrustMRR displays 12. It's because the buy button is hardcoded. I manually push sponsors to prod for now. I didn't know the app would receive that many visitors in such a short time (35k visitors in 16 hours). How would you handle this? Possible solutions: 1. Add two ad spots. 2. Refund the last customer. 3. Rotate ads like Times Square (two ads per card, flip them). 4. ??? I would love to know what you think before making the next move. Please hit reply!

Bye Bye fake MRR screenshots 👋 I built TrustMRR.com, the database of verified startup revenues. 1. Upload a read-only Stripe API key 2. Get a free page showing your verified revenue 3. And a nice dofollow backlink as a bonus There's no way to game the system. It's all running on my server, and users can't edit the revenue data. + It comes with the leaderboard of startups with the most revenue in the last 30 days. Go get verified!

There's so many fake MRR screenshots on here, but you can't really prove it, except that generally it takes people years to even make a successful project and then many more years to build up substantial revenue It took me years to get to $10K/mo revenue! Seeing people join X, then post $50K-$100K MRR screenshots within weeks, then disappear a year later, obviously seems like a scheme to extract money from you Which is when they post, reply "GAMEPLAN" so they can sell your their course It's a racket and you shouldn't fall for it or believe it

@carlgrimesdupe @levelsio @PierreDeWulf @ScrapingBee Either it's abuse (stop taking their money & ban them) or it's not abuse (proof repeatedly provided = no rules broken). If it's the latter, provide human support to fix the broken reporting process. Can't have it both ways while collecting payment.

@timatping @levelsio @PierreDeWulf @ScrapingBee and i agree no support is bad business. but OP also only shows the automated email, which doesn’t handle inquiries. you need to open a Robot ticket, as they also mention, and you get a human to speak to.

@carlgrimesdupe @levelsio @PierreDeWulf @ScrapingBee Even if it's abuse (no idea what happened), taking payment while offering zero human support is bad business. If it's genuine abuse, Hetzner collecting money + providing no help = terrible customer service + enabling abuse. Either way, unacceptable.

@timatping @levelsio @PierreDeWulf @ScrapingBee these alerts don’t come purely from scraping. you only get these when your box is sending a crazy amount of abnormal traffic to a specific IP/subset of IPs and ports on said IPs over an extremely short period.

@indie_hacker_ @levelsio @PierreDeWulf @ScrapingBee 😂don't take the risk then; just add scraping as a prohibited activity?! Companies can set whatever policies they want for how customers use their services, and if customers violate rules that is their fault but here it seems Hetzner want to have their cake and eat it🍰

Cloud/Shared are the same policy; virtualization contention should also be the job and responsibility of the host, not the clients allocated the vCPUs + shared VPS still have dedicated IP addresses If they don't want scraping on their network, they should just add it as a prohibited activity but they're happy to take @PierreDeWulf 's money...

@levelsio @PierreDeWulf @ScrapingBee Web-scraping isn't prohibited in their service agreement or general terms? I don't think it's a controversial take to say: if you accept money from a customer and they follow your rules, you should provide them with a good service...🤔
