Final: Batavia-ND defeats Chateaugay 65-49 to capture the class D state title. A very close game with about 4 minutes remaining turns into a runaway late, including a few bench technicals from Chateaugay.

At half, BND leads Chateaugay 25-23. BND once again led by double figures but Chateaugay claws it all back with a 9-0 run to close the stanza. Turnover woes creeping in late for the Irish as they do little to stem to tide over the final 2 mins.

Albertus Magnus 72 Aquinas 50 Final Aquinas fought well to remain competitive in the 1st half, but in a battle of what’s become HVCC regulars in recent years, Albertus Magnus’ steadiness & sustainability came through after the break. A big 3rd quarter blew it open, another run to start the 4th added to it, and they led by as much as 37 in the waning moments en route to a third straight @NYSPHSAA crown & the second of Class AAA supremacy 🏆 @Saranezaj2028 got loose & went for 32 to lead all scorers, and @juliascott2026 (@ClemsonWBB) capped a HS chapter that could only be considered ‘generational’ with 23 more for @AMHSFalcons (@patbuckley10). Carle Thomas (2028) led three AQ players in double figures with 16, and AJ Orr capped a fast-rising HS career with 14 for @AQ__Athletics. Game 5 ✔️ Class AAA ✔️✔️

Final: Albertus Magnus defeats Aquinas 72-50 to capture the AAA crown. Back to back in AAA and third straight overall for Magnus. Clinical performance from the Falcons once again.

After 3, Magnus in firm control over Aquinas, 59-33. Sara Nezaj has been superb tonight, dropping 24 pts in 24 minutes. Magnus 8 minutes away from a 3 peat.

At the half, Magnus leads Aquinas 34-22. Magnus consistently pushing the ball off AQ makes and catching AQ not getting back quick enough. 7-0 run to end the half for Magnus, as the Falcons are getting balance in the books. Foul issues for AQ; Orr, Thomas, Muhammad all with 3.

Early on in the class AAA state final, Magnus leads Aquinas 12-5.

Yonkers Montessori 67 Mechanicville 38 Final First time up here as a program, and they get to extend their stay another night. YMA vs Chenango Forks, a great regional final last year, confirmed for the Class B state crown 🔋 Liliana Toto went for 19 & was the catalyst in a convincing early stretch, @EmileeDoh4410 added 17 with many in a big 16-0 run to put it away after Mechanicville showed fight in the 3rd quarter, and @anisamustafaj joined them in double figures with 12 for @YMA_GirlsHoops. Elle Richardson paced balanced Mechanicville, who had ten players score, with 8. Game 4 ✔️

After 3 quarters, YMA leads Mechanicville 47-33. Much better from M'ville in the stanza, but unfortunately for them, only able to go +4. YMA settles after a nervy opening few minutes and continues to attack.

At the half, YMA leads Mechanicville 32-14. YMA running like a well oiled machine, making things extremely difficult for M'ville in the half court and the decent looks they are getting, are not falling.

After 1 quarter, YMA leads Mechanicville 20-7. YMA able to push the ball up the floor with consistency, creating numerous high percentage conversions. Mechanicville seems a half step slow on both ends.

Jordyn Ericksen-Hrehor tremendous for Forks with 24, Warpus with 21. Tenly Baker did all she could for Marcellus, dropping a game high 27.

Final: Chenango Forks defeats Marcellus 69-58 to advance to the class B state final. Composure down the stretch after gaining back the lead from Forks, including 7 of 8 from the stripe from Mari Pourby.
