400,000 amazing users, great employees and 4 years of hard work comes to a close 💔 My dream was to run a EU compliant marketplace, I did, but ultimately it did not work out. Ups and downs, loads of obstacles, some completely out of our control, but ultimately it ends like this. Spent a huge amount of time and money over the last years- but at least I walk away with mostly good memories, friendships and a lot of valuable lessons I am proud of the product we build & proud of the way we chose to operate in this space Thank you to everyone who helped along the way, for the kind words & the support and selflessness from many people in the space. SkinBid ApS (the company behind SkinBid.com) has been placed under bankruptcy proceedings on the 21st of November 2025, in accordance with Danish law. Most of us in the CS community have been scammed out of our skins at least once, drop what you've lost in the replies Shortly after taking this screenshot, I sold my butterfly knife and got hit with a paypal chargeback. Lesson learned the hard way
