ODNI's Annual Threat Assessment confirms that Pakistan is developing missiles to strike the US with nuclear weapons (i.e. ICBMs). It’s not just the official denial that matters, it’s the centrality of SaudiVision 2030 for the leadership, the urgency of economic growth and attracting FDI, the political and economic investments they have made in promoting regional stability, and several years of a Saudi strategy of engagement and containment when it comes to Iran. As much as many journalists and analysts want it to be black and white, much of the reporting in the U.S. on Saudi engagement before and during this war in Washington just doesn’t add up. And even if some of this reporting was true, look at what that actually translates to when it comes to Saudi Arabia’s policies toward Iran during this war and after the dust settles.

Drivel. Gulf is obviously closed. Some mainline container services use UAE east coast ports of Fujairah & Khor Fakkan. Big lines have moved transhipment hubs to Salalah, Oman (Maersk) and Jeddah (MSC). Regional feeder services are operating either from there, or from Singapore.
