Absolutely. Didn’t buy tickets ahead of things because of that. Had no idea if I’d actually be able to go. Now the prices are getting outrageous.

I wonder if the NHL is aware that the playoffs start in just more than 48 hours. Very unfair to people who are traveling from out of town to see games, or for people who are trying to organize their lives around when puck drop is. Not fair to the teams either, for that matter.

I always thought it was strange the NHL waited until there were 4 teams left in the Stanley Cup playoffs to vote on the GM of the Year Award. Kind of made it hard not to nominate 3 of those 4 GMs left standing.
The NHL has rectified that, Colin Campbell confirms the voting has been changed to after the 1st round instead. Which makes way more sense.
Campbell went to GMs with the idea of the tweak at GM meetings last month and they agreed.
