@sussexfarming This is exactly why the CAP worked
Food prices are kept low to enable good quality food to all

I think farming can do better than this!? Does this policy mean milk, beef and lamb also double and become completely unaffordable to the genuine poor in society. Nigel Farage’s farming adviser calls for wheat prices to double | Farming | The Guardian theguardian.com/environment/20…

@ag_recruiter That’s a large spill! Nicely cut before we notice 😂

BREAKING: Trump just attacked NATO and then goes on to say that "25 years ago" he said that NATO was a "Paper tiger" and that "they would never come to our rescue".
FACT: 25 years ago was March 26, 2001. Less than 6 months after that, on September 12, 2001, NATO invoked Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty for the first and only time ever. They lost 1100 soldiers fighting for us.
Trump is a Moron.

@ukeastcoast @ArableSam I’ll be able to measure the difference this year. We ploughed a bad blackgrass field in early September.
English

@cutlerstom @ArableSam Plough in September for maximum benefit to Clay
English

@ArableSam Long term benefits from soil health. Introduce livestock, recycle nutrients, increase biological activity.
But in the cold reality it’s a step backwards from just covers, which is a productivity step backwards from overwinter plough 😬. Someone needs to pay more…..

@JLEEWALLS1 @HealthRanger And bring back malnutrition and starvation too
Good luck

@HealthRanger orrrrr just work WITH nature instead
big ag aint it, we need to bring back victory gardens and support local farmers who practice regenerative/permaculture

Turns out that you can kill weeds without using toxic chemicals that saturate the crops. Lasers and cameras, folks... this is the future of clean(er) food.

Glyphosate’s worst nightmare.
English

@HealthRanger Yes, and no. Work out the energy per weed required for this, you might regret the environmental impact if more coal is needed to do this
English

@KellyLMcCarty This is typical social media you’re misinformed and focusing on partly the wrong thing. The environmental cost per weed controlled is a fraction of that using glyphosate compared to “lasers”.
Use your brain and think how much energy is being used to control one weed with a laser!
