@tommuschamp Poverty drives crime, not the lack of law enforcement. Covid-19 and the lackluster government reaction has had a profound effect on incomes. If you were just getting by before, imagine what you are facing now. Does not excuse murder or other crime, but maybe explains it.

@alexgriendling Stay Tuned with Preet Bharara is consistently the best political, legal, and social interviewing I have heard. Preet, and Anne Milgram, are great hosts, and I subscribe to the Cafe Insider, which is mostly deep-in-the-weeds conversation about politics from the former prosecutors.
