When I’m a billionaire I will be the coolest billionaire ever
I will be posted up in the south of France on my yacht blaring divorced dad rock and country music
People will ask how the hell did this guy do that?
God did
@Lukealexxander The USSR was tracking the Apollo program the entire time. If it was fake, they would’ve exposed it instantly… also what about the 400,000 people that worked on it? Also the rovers that have been to the moon (and mars) more recently? That’s fake too? Lmao
If we landed on the moon in the 60’s
Two questions:
1. Why haven’t we gone back? Don’t tell me cost reasons; there are a lot of benefits of actually going regularly if possible economically
2. Why is this new shuttle not landing? Just driving around and coming back
@MattEpstein16 Steve Jobs didn’t make Apple into a global phenomenon by thinking about music in the lobby for employees. You might be thinking about the wrong things brother.
I got my daily Starbucks this morning.
As I was about to leave the $20/hour barista said something.
At first I didn't think much about it.
What happened 45 seconds later could make any CEO $1M+.
As I'm on my way out, the Barista yells "Desean turn on some pop smoke"
If you don't know, Popsmoke is a popular music artist. Immediatly desean does so.
What I watched happen next blew my mind. All of a sudden each of the 5 barristas face changed.
They went from unexcited unmotivated and upset to be there to shaking their hips singing music and working faster in unison to the beat.
This one change alone seemed like it increased producitivity by 2x/employee.
Multiple workplace studies have proved this.
As a CEO this is fascinating. One small change (putting the music on) could in theory decrease one of your biggest costs (labor) by 50%...
Which raises a bigger question: What other “small levers” create massive output shifts?
Yes, Sometimes productivity comes from completely restructuring your company. Better systems, better management, better standard operating procedures.
But sometimes...It’s as simple as turning pop smoke on
For too long, San Franciscans have been told that we must choose between clean, safe neighborhoods and compassion for those struggling on our streets.
I ran for mayor because I believed we can—and should—do both. And today, we’re showing that our city doesn’t have to choose between compassion and accountability.
Today, I signed legislation to open the new Rapid Enforcement, Support, Evaluation, and Triage Center—better known as the RESET Center.
The RESET Center allows our officers to arrest those engaged in public drug use at a speed and volume we have never seen before. If you use drugs on our streets, we will arrest you.
But with this new resource, we will also give those suffering from addiction a real chance to choose recovery. The RESET Center is a health-focused facility designed to care for publicly intoxicated individuals by moving them off the streets and into a safe and controlled environment. It provides hope by giving individuals a chance to sober up and be connected to treatment.
I have had a lot of fun lately letting Claude fully control my old ThinkPad.
This finally feels like the correct way to interact with computers, like something’s been missing this entire time until now.
Give Claude a laptop to live in, you won’t regret it.
"When you was a part of the team, we used to be planning our Mexico trip in the spring, we must have been dealing with the Spur of the moment. Kawhi did we think you could get us a ring, and bragging about how you went home. The f*ck are they on? Crodie, we threw him away. G Pop sent us a real one from Daygo and next thing we knew, we was doing parades." 🗣 @Drake
