Justin Rose is already in full-on Masters prep. Used a @CallawayGolf Quantum Mini prototype (D3) last week at Sawgrass.
It’s an 11.5-degree head, turned down to 11. Plays at 43.25” with 9 grams of weight in the forward setting, 7 grams in the back.
Seeing ~173 mph ball speed with the mini, which is closer to his driver than the 3-wood.
In recent years, we’ve seen more players require a club that carries 300 to reach areas where the fairway necks. Driver is too much, but mini fits the bill.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but looking at some facts/data relating to your accusation…
-Akshay has played 9 @DPWorldTour sanctioned events since switching to the broomstick putter.
-8 majors in 2024-25 plus the 2025 Dubai Desert Classic.
-So only 3 possible, non-USA events & as far as I can tell, Mr. Potts did not caddy at any of them.
-Possible anchoring? Anything is possible but highly unlikely & taking the word of a reputable tour player who has seen him multiple times, up close & in person seems to be the one any rational, non-internet-troll would logically believe. 🤷♂️⛳️

🚨🚨🚨#GOLFCHAT QUESTION #1🚨🚨🚨
Before we discuss #ThePlayers, let's dive into Akshay Bhatia's win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Do you think he is anchoring his putter or is it no big deal? Should the PGA Tour (and others) change their rules about using long putters?

Six scheduling themes from Rolapp.
• Aiming for 21-26 elevated events (including majors and Presidents Cup/Ryder Cup).
• Establish more consistent fields. Moving away from small fields and no cut events. Targeting 120 players with a cut.
• Want to open the season big with marquee event at iconic venue on the west coast.
• Looking closely at bigger markets.
• Two tours. Track B should ladder up to Track A. Making the top 21-26 events matter more.
• Exploring ways to enhance the postseason. Considering match play to bring more drama.
Nothing finalized he says.
I'm in on all six themes.

@BryanTweed16 A3: Many good/great ones but I have a soft spot for the 2000 @THEPLAYERS win by @halsuttongolf… “Be the right club. Be the right club today!” 🏌️♂️ #golfchat

@BryanTweed16 A2: Haven’t played @TPCSawgrass but have walked it numerous times. The last 3 holes are amazing but the par 4 fourth hole is sneaky good too. ⛳️ #golfchat
