SaaS activation is so damn brutal.. So this guy signed up for OutlierKit -> analyzed 4 channels -> and ran out of free credits within a 15 minute period He clearly found value in the product. Would have used it more if he had more credits. Whats the best way to get him to upgrade? - In app nudges - Email nudges - Sell credit packs instead of monthly subs - Pray to the MRR Gods for redemption 🙏 anything else?

These things are useful: 1. Bitninja to monitor 2. SonarQube for code reviews 3. SFTP with PGP encryption & 2FA, if possible have jump server 4. Keeping all keys separately and pulling it from other source

I am not sure how to improve security for my apps/websites. Wordpress websites gets hacked more often than number of edits I do on sites. CodeIgniter based solutions randomly gets hacked and sub domain being used for betting apps in Indonesia. Somewhere I left some door open.

Just finished off with my first interview with ICP. Key things which I was planning to build are not even in radar. However two key problems surfaced while hour long discussion. Now I need to validate the same problem with at least 14 other people. 15 interviews are enough?

I was working in silos without any goals. First time, I had setup measurable goals for myself for August. I think I tried to set too many and was not able to allot enough time to work towards each goal. However I am pretty happy that I set the goals and few are achieved.

1 thing I've realized working on multiple different projects over the years is that being "solo" is overrated. Having partners, co-founders, employees is so much more empowering.. You share the pain as well as the progress You can clearly divide responsibilities and focus on your areas of expertise There is no way I could have kept working on 1 thing for such a long time without any revenue solo.. But some ideas do need that time initially.. and you need to be patient and gritty to go through that phase.. glad im not alone in this one..

🤏 this close to crossing $100 MRR for my new SaaS After 4 months of hustle with no results, August is starting to look good. (Can't believe we almost gave up in July 🙈) Building this in stealth with 2 other very cool makers Its taken a while for us to understand the market, the ICP, the pain points. But now we have some clarity on who we are serving. Crowded yet growing market. So we see a lot of potential.. its a good idea, hope we don't blow up the execution 😅 Public launch soon 🤞 Wish me luck 🙏
