Here's the top 5 countries list that I would recommend people from India to travel. This is the latest list based on last 2 years of travel. 1.) China :- Exotic, cheap, shopping heaven, a very very good tourist infrastructure, its highly developed. The cities here can give any top European/American city run for their money. With right apps, this country is the most advanced digital payment economy. You can tip, buy things , take rides all using your credit card at no extra charges. Cons- Vegetarian options may be limited, visas specially for tier 2 cities can be a headche. 2.) Japan:- Most orderly and peaceful country that you can visit, this is one such country that every one should visit in their life time, Food is very good, has lots to offer for tourists and a great shopping destination, not as good as china but still one of the best out there with tax refund. Cons- Japan can be very expensive so plan well in advance, currently has visa delays. 3.) Thailand:- Cheap, King of tourism in SE asia, very cool place for water activities and beautiful beaches, flights from India, hotel, local food everything will be very reasonable. Has a bustling night culture. Cons- some places may have prejudice against Indians, I visited 6 times in 2026. Didn't face any issue. This is based on various articles 4.) Australia:- An extremely beautiful continent which has flaura and fauna that you may find no where. Heaven for beach lovers, very peaceful place. Most places are untouched and hence you get an exclusive experience without even trying. Long drives can ve very scenic and fun fun Cons- Visa isn't easy, hotels can be very expensive 5.) Poland:- central Europe, still not famous or known in between average Indians, getting very famous in west and also touted as the most value for money country in Schengen zone. Has lot to offer. Direct flights from Delhi/mumbai. Cons- language issue can be there in smaller cities, in general safe but I have read incidents of racism, Polish Schengen visa isn't very consistent and winters can be very cold.

UK 6 months visa now costs 135 pounds from today which in INR will be 17,260. So a family of 4 from India will just pay 69k inr to just start their basic trip to UK 🇬🇧 Traveling to west keeps on getting expensive.
UK in India🇬🇧🇮🇳@UKinIndia

UK visa costs are changing from 8 April 2026. We are making improvements to deliver a more streamlined, digital immigration system and the global increase in visa fees will help ensure we continue to offer customers a strong, secure and efficient visa service.

Immigration Data Share Whenever you are applying for any visa to the top nations like Australia, Canada, New Zealand the United Kingdom. You get asked for a question, have you been refused any visa by any country in past. Now, many people try hiding their immigration history but what they don't know is the above nations are a part of The five eyes(FVEY) where every immigration cases first goes through an extensive immigration history check in all the above countries plus USA. But Australia is known for checking the immigration history even for non immigrant visas. Here's one such case which I have received where someone applied for an Australian visa but didn't declare his Canadian refusal, this was picked by Australian counterparts. Similarly UK and Ireland have 100% visa info share All Schengen and EU states have it through VIS US and Canada Australia and Nz

We recently had another very young guy come to us for Schengen visa, his travel plan was alligned with one of his friend and his friend wanted him to have his application from a particular country, we talked I did an analysis of his profile and it seemed unlikely for him to get visa from that country. He infact almost gave up the plan, I then suggested him forget friend, do as you please meet at one point but lets apply from so and so country. He agreed. Even with this country, it wasn't easy. He was single, working in a local form no MNC and had a normal salary. I worked with him, helped him finalize the plan and put forward his application. Now, even with all this. He was called by the Visa officer, this embassy (Czech) usually doesn't call but he got a call, they had all the same questions which I had thought but applicant answered it correctly and in complete rawness. Result- His first Schengen visa was approved. All other young applicants, single folks or people who aren't having very high salary. I will recommend to put the first foot right, once you are rejected, things start getting tricky. Though rejection is not the end of route but avoid as much as you can, your friend and you are all different. Just because your friend got a visa wouldn't mean you will also and vice versa. Lastly, always remember though all these Schengen countries follow the same principle for Schengen visa but processing pattern and decisioning isn't same for all. Always select the primary destination which suits your application over anything else. Dont visa shop.

Save up, apply for your Australian visa, do not rush to cover the entire Australia in one go, book a good deal to Western Australia and land in Perth. Book a car rental and then drive to Margaret river and cover the Western Australia in next 7-10 days. Thank me later! This will be one of the most epic journeys of your life, watch wild Kangaroos, Cockatoos, wake up to birds singing and probably the most beautiful and untouched coast line with beaches so clean and natural that you will simply not want to leave.

Australian visa for one of our very young client, had barely any travel history. Two SE countries, under 25, Single. Wanted to travel Australia, reached out to us. We worked with him and in almost 20ish days he has got his Australian visa. Travel history is the most over ratted thing for Australia. They do ask about it but usually has no value on the results.

Again hat tip and many thanks to the @viszapp team - @Kenu73 and especially @rhythmnibjia for helping me secure 2 separate schengen visa applications on a deadline. Netherlands visa was urgent and slightly tricky - came back in 9 days Spain visa was again not straightforward - came back in 2 days haha :) It's annoying how Schengen tests your patience but if you need to travel then the little things matter and these guys know what's what. Thanks again

Yes 5 years Schengen visa is tough, probably the holy grail of visas. Way way way tougher than US visa. Yes its discretionary and sometimes it may not work but Guess what, we have now been able to get a lot of our customers longer validity including myself, I also hold a 5 years visa, it was a straight up after the 2 years visa since the favourable cascade regime was launched. This client has been among oldest of our clients, last time he got a very short validity from France, this time he had a plan for Germany. Got in touch with us, we worked with him based on his personal circumstances and the past history, result 5 years visa for him! Wife also got a generous 2 years. Cascade was positively skipped in his case but I was almost certain that he will get a longer validity. But always remember, your travel history to entire globe in principle won't affect the validity of Schengen visas. Be it US/UK/AUSTRALIA.

People really take visas as a joke, yeah probably if you hold the top 20 maybe you can. For all others, please do not take processing period lightly. Always and Always apply as early as you can, here's the quick official time-line for countries based on how early can you apply. Japan- 3 months UK- 3 months Ireland- 3 months, can process earlier based on embassy exceptions SCHENGEN- 6 months in advance CANADA/US- no such timeline, apply whenever you want Australia- nothing as such, but apply atleast 3 months in advance Hongkong - PAR stays valid for 6 months, so apply as early you can. In case par is rejected you can opt for evisa. Vietnam- 1 year before the planned entry China- 3 months For a lot of visas, time is the essence and even if you aren't able to travel, this won't harm you. So with Indian passport please ensure that you apply for visas with time in hand. Some countries like UK, Vietnam, China do have official/unofficial channels to get faster processing but most done.

Messages like this helps tremendously. This was from one of our Client, a top guy. Here's his story, he was the highest earner in the family, a very good business of Exporting goods to Middle east and Africa but was rejected back to back by Schengen, that put out a trauma in him, he was so scared to travel and was unable to understand what could have gone wrong. He reached out to few folks for help, some ghosted and others mislead. He reached out to me, took our services fast forward to now, completed his dream trip and now planning the second with his family.

The reason why I put forward this post is because we have cracked the code for 5 years visa, yes the decision lies with embassy/consulate but we have now processed and applied enough visa applications to tell you that for 5 years visa. 1.) Travel history doesn't matter matter. 2.) You having 2 trips to Japan doesn't matter 3.) 10 lakhs bank balance wouldn't matter. And things get worse for Southern India, the places from where you have max opportunity for getting 5 years Japanese tourist visa is Delhi, Mumbai. We have almost 100% approval rates for 5 years visa with cases where we have identified that this person will get 5 year, and works for Delhi and Mumbai however same profiles won't get it South India.

Visa Gyaan Your travel history to entire world or even multiple trips to Japan won't get you 5 years Japan visa. So don't reddit, google or search this anywhere. It further gets worse for folks with South Indian residency

🚨Chinese visas are facing huge delays be it business or tourist and hence kindly keep as many days as possible. You can apply as early as 3 months, I am receiving multiple messages everyday. Even families applying together are seeing delays. Previous 5th working day timelines are easily being burst. I reckon online processing has slowed the process.
