@JustEsBaraheni there’s no advantage. you hate the same odds as everyone else. no incentive to tank. every team will be trying to win and the teams that aren’t set up to win will just not win as many games

I *hate* the idea of expanding the lottery + flattening odds.
So now instead of 5 teams per conference vying to lose and get better odds… you’re opening it up to more teams?
Need to go the other way. Make it so 3-4 worst teams have the best chance + odds plummet from there.

the way scottie barnes and brandon ingram have stepped up in this game is exactly what we wanted to see. leaders took over in a must win game.

@eladbenari @william_lou i would imagine so. his strengths are being a player coach and he has a solid defensive scheme. but he’s incapable of strong in game adjustments

@JustEsBaraheni it’s laughably obvious what lineups work and which ones don’t. it’s so predictable. who would’ve thought a fast lineup with switchable defenders, three point shooting and ball movement works well (shead, walter, barnes, mamu, cmb)

Heat run more zone than any team in the NBA. Actually, double the 2nd place team in terms of frequency.
The Raptors #1 solution to this is Scottie Barnes.

@RapsReport darko is genuinely not trying to win by playing jakob poeltl for more than 2 minutes in any basketball game. easily the most useless player on a basketball court. and playing him alongside cmb is just malpractice

@raptorsrepublic lose all 4, lose the play in, miracle jump in the lottery for a top 8 pick and next season make the right trades and actually be a real team

very heads up substitution there by darko putting Jakob in before the jumpball. jak's size kept queta off the glass and got the raptors the last shot. nearly got the tip in too.
tiny margins like that will matter in these game

@AllNBAYuji darko has the worst rotations in the nba. his focus is on being supportive and encouraging. that is not useful in meaningful games. he has no spine. a serious coach would play ingram and poeltl 0 minutes in the 2nd half
