Almost every argument used by modern progressives against transracialism can also be used against gender. 1) "You'll never know the lived experience of or growing up as a real (race) person" -> "...of or growing up as a real man/woman" 2) "Transracialism perpetuates stereotypes about how people dress, act and speak" -> "...wearing man/woman like a costume, acting stereotypically masculine/feminine" 3) "You'll never know what its like to experience racism, when things get hard you can just revert to being white." -> "You'll never know the responsibility of a man, when a military draft comes you can just revert to being a housewife." If your support for transgender identities is rooted in arbitrary social standards dictated by identity politics, rather than concrete principles such as bodily autonomy and harm reduction, then you have no real leg to stand on. Support transgender people, support transracialism.
