@QueerDumbass @wuivot @heyitsrosemulet I think "documented" is a better word, "assignment" is John Money's terminology for determining DSD cases with ambiguous genitalia although arguably transsexuals face the same assignment by having a brain-body misalignment, it makes very little sense to say that about cís people.

That combo doesn't have to be limited to trans people.

it’s actually a divide btwn seeing transsexuality as something to embrace itself and in doing so create a culture separate from cís womanhood or seeing it as a forced alternative for the way we were born to get as close as possible to being a cís woman (what we truly desire)
