Nathan MacKinnon has mastered the art of looking busy on the ice. The casuals love it, the analytics guys love it, I see through it. He is not elite in any sense of the word, closer to a JT Miller than a McDavid or Kucherov. A 3/10 on his best day. Overrated.

I do find it funny that the Leafs miss the playoffs ONCE in the past decade primarily because the coach is a moron and suddenly everyone on this team needs to go.
If we get the rebuild, yall will do this all over again in 2030-2032. Because a 9 year playoff streak hardly happens

Laughton oozes culture & has plenty left in the tank to help the on-ice product. He fits perfectly no matter how things play out. If we’re competitive, he’s a player you want in the playoffs. If we enter a rebuild, he’s a vet you want mentoring the young guys. I’d bring him back.
