@paulswaney3 Everyone is exposed to the market, either directly (retirement accounts, stocks pensions) or indirectly (price of crude oil, price of commodities, strength of the US dollar). So there might be different levels of giving a fk, but everyone is exposed to market activity.

@fismat @DrNeilStone Depends on what "most" means. Everything in life is about probabilities - there is no 100% safe medication or substance. From what I have read, the rate of fatal complications is very low (< 2%) for mRNA vaccines.

Yes, but even if most folks had no problem or serious issue, is that acceptable? I don’t that that is the right way to think about a medicine/vaccine administered to healthy people. The bar should be a bit higher.

The latest GEFS run (00Z 21 February) continues to feature a stratospheric wave reflection event end of next week (+ve wave flux over Siberia/-ve wave flux over Canada). This will lead to a building ridge near Alaska and higher cold risks for the Midwest and Northeast thereafter.

I know it's cold now in the central/Eastern US. But, I am already tracking ANOTHER potential cold air outbreak on the way, thanks to a very strong stratospheric wave reflection event about to occur. Potential impacts would be early-mid March. #S2S
