You’ve done your best, and you’re still doing your part. I’m saying this because you should know when to speak out and when not to. Don’t let anyone pressure you into speaking out. Mind you, these same people pressuring you today are the same ones who collectively tried to end your career over a harmless tweet. They want to pick and choose. They want the freedom to constantly criticize and insult you, yet still expect you to ignore how they’ve treated you over the years and speak on their behalf. They claimed your songs that raised awareness were nothing but stunts and accused you of profiting from people’s suffering. Yet today, these same people want you to speak out for them.
