A project between EA #HampshireAssetTeam & @hantsconnect to raise A3057 Greatbridge Rd is currently proving itself. Water levels would currently be flowing over the road which would have had to be closed. Floodwaters contained, no public disruption. #floodaware @TestValleyBC

A very wet weekend saw teams across the country collecting vital high flow data. Cornwall team were out both days and captured peak data at Bolingey gauging station. This ensures accurate live data streams constantly into incident rooms which is used to issue flood warnings.

Out at the beautiful Werrington Park gauging this morning. Our topographical surveyors are checking all levels are correct to ensure our data is A1. Shame it feels like the start of summer when it is soon to end!

Rainy summer days but no stopping @DCfieldteamsEA as they overhaul another @HydrometryEA real time raingauge. You can see the temporary Pelicase setup that kept the dataset flowing while the overhaul took place. Great to have another one back in fine fettle!
