Being mostly alone when I had nothing has left me with some sort of resentment towards relationships.
I feel I owe no one commitment since they weren't there when I was labouring for what I have.

Deep down I know that isn't the right mindset to have, especially for the kind of family I envision but the anger creeps out from time to time.
