in reaction to this tweet i have had a concerning number of women come in to my stream to express how they have also recently received voice comms bans for standing up for themselves against misogynists and terrible comments??? it's a little concerning that it feels like the only way you can react in this situation according to riot is to say NOTHING/mute them in case it violates their terms/policy? i myself refuse to do this, as do the majority of women playing games. we have a voice and deserve to use it especially standing up for ourselves playing a silly little video game and in these situations where we're receiving harassment/abuse regularly for simply for being a woman. it also feels like more often than not we aren't getting any feedback for bans/action for the instigator. feels a lil dookie man🥲

You're completely ignorant and/or uninformed if you think OVERWATCH has a higher skill gap than Rocket League 🤣 it's not even the highest skill FPS game... Put 7 amateurs against 1 pro in OW and the pro WILL lose. A RETIRED pro beat 7 amateurs in RL. It's not even close 😅

Genuinely can't believe in the big 26 people still think Rocket League isn't the highest skill gap competitive game out there, its not even close. Ik I'm bias but still 😂 An SSL in rocket league will be absolutely shat on by even a retired pro, idk if the same can be said for the equivalent ranks in other titles. Xqc is entirely wrong in this regard. If you're gonna pick a title to rival rocket league in terms of skill gap, it definitely aint overwatch, or any fps title that shares a lot of transferrable skills. There are several pros out there that have gone from OW->Rivals, or even to Valorant, (also CS->Valorant, and FN->Valorant) the same can't be said for RL. This isn't to diminish the difficulty of fps titles at all, I'm a big fan of them, I have friends who are pros in those games, and going pro in any game is an absurd feat as its literally the top 0.01% of the top 0.01%. BUT it shows the difference in skill gap between them if you're able to just hop from one game to the other and very quickly land a pro team spot, you can't do that in RL. There are also so few luck elements in RL (if any) besides spawn location. The same cannot be said for most other esports titles. Even ping isn't an issue in RL (to an extent), and MENA pros especially have proven that over the years. They'll shit on 99% of the player base (including other pros) with 150+ ping disadvantage, in what other game is that the case?
