 Heading to FOSDEM｜STUNMESH-go: Building P2P WireGuard Mesh Without Self-Hosted Infrastructure Building site-to-site VPNs over mobile networks or behind multi-layer NATs and Stateful Firewalls is notoriously difficult, as you often need a relay server with a public IP or spend hours configuring port forwarding and STUN. STUNMESH-go addresses this problem by leveraging public services to help WireGuard peers discover each other and form a stable P2P Mesh without requiring self-hosted servers. Date Huang will share his hands-on experience using STUNMESH-go across different platforms, including Linux, FreeBSD, macOS, and embedded routers like VyOS, EdgeOS, and OpenWrt.
