Biometric indicators (heart rate/pulse, blood pressure, body temperature, height/weight). Audio data. Optical data (including capturing images for facial recognition). And it explicitly discusses the sensors being activated when a payment is attempted, then used to authenticate the person based on a “user profile.” So here are the questions we think everyone should be willing to ask, without hysteria, without speculation, and without denial... If systems like this are being patented for commerce, what else is being developed under similar frameworks? What does “consent” look like when sensors can be “suspended in air” and collect biometric and optical data?
