China and the US, which China copies, place their students in many top universities to understand many things from those universities - their research areas, get access to their R&D first hand, build network with professors and researchers, create influence inside the university etc. Especially universities that are quite good in research and contribute to a country's sensitive areas. Just saying.

This is why one should not get enraged too much and start asking for bans to make enemies out of everyone. All influencers, even who are rabidly anti-India, can be changed in their perception and made as ambassadors of India. The current govt knows it better than anyone else.

Honestly, as someone who has traveled a lot, India is the best country I have ever traveled to. It’s incredible. I will have been here for 9 days when I leave, and there is still so much to see and do. My experience has been amazing and India is portrayed negatively in the media as a place Amercians should avoid, but I realize a lot of that is completely made up. The people, food, culture and hospitality culture are just incredible. I have felt safe and comfortable the entire time I have been here and India will truly be the next big super power. This country has incredible potential and you have to see it yourself to understand because the media only makes it out to be 3rd world. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Indian people are the nicest people I have ever met. I am very grateful for my time in India. I have enjoyed it so much and I hope I can come back every year. Next time I want to visit South India. I have tried to do as much as possible these last 9 days but there is still so much to see and do. All good things come to an end. I’ll be back (hopefully soon). I love India. My misconceptions have been corrected. I have nothing but nice things to say. 🇮🇳

A lot of people may not like this. But the way this govt has handled crisis whether Covid or Trump's tantrums or the energy issues now is beyond commendable. One can always nitpick and find fault with some things but big picture the current team at the top led by PM Modi have done things for which they rarely get much credit. I don't think India has seen such confident handling of dire situations since independence. The capability building, relationship building, the India first approach, the confidence and the execution has been next level. I can't think of any other previous govt handing things like this.

The contrast is telling: India has become a global refining hub, importing crude while exporting high-value fuels such as diesel and ATF, ranking in each of the past two years as the world’s second-largest exporter of refined petroleum after the United States.

India will get access to China bound Iran oil at sea soon. Just like Russian oil to China being diverted to India now. Because the US will lift sanctions on Iran oil to try squeeze China's access to it. And will ask India to buy it to keep prices sane for the war's end phase👇

Even I consider Qatar a very clever state in the Middle East - it controls energy, controls diplomatic assets. Oman is a negotiation hub. There is a big US base in Qatar, and it holds Al Jazeera, so it is hard to touch Qatar in the Middle East because of US immunity. That is why they play all sides. But when things go wrong, nothing matters - only courage matters, how much leverage you hold, and how much you can lose. And this time I also see how rival enemies try to hit you when time is against you. Anyone can see how precisely Iran neutralised American assets in the Middle East with hard precision, thanks to Russian intel and Chinese technology. The US did a lot of damage to Russia through Ukraine, and now this is the turn of Russia to do the same to the US. This war is like a golden period for Russia. If Russia somehow manages China and India on energy, then this war will extend more. Everything depends on who will blink first.
