Tabi의 문제인식 현재 게임 생태계는 이해관계의 불일치로 인해 지속 가능하지 못한 상황에 놓여 있습니다. 게임 생태계는 체인이 개발되고 마켓플레이스가 론칭되면서 다양한 게임들이 출시되고, 이를 통해 게임 플레이어와 토큰 홀더들이 참여하게 됩니다. 사용자가 증가할수록 게임과 체인의 가치는 상승하지만, 이러한 구조에는 몇 가지 주요 문제가 존재합니다. (1) 게임, 체인의 성공 ≠ 토큰 홀더의 성공 대부분의 게임 수익은 NFT 거래를 통해 창출되며, 이 수익은 체인과 게임 운영자들에게 돌아가지만, 플레이어와 토큰 홀더들은 손해를 보는 경우가 많습니다. 이는 체인과 게임에서 발생하는 수익이 토큰 홀더들에게 분배되지 않기 때문입니다. 대표적인 사례로는,엑시 인피니티와 로닌 네트워크가 있습니다. (2) 사례. 엑시 인피니티와 로닌 네트워크 엑시 인피니티는 2022년 상반기에 큰 성공을 거두었으며, 당시 엑시 인피니티는 거래소에서 1조 5천억 원 이상의 매출을 올렸습니다. NFT 마켓플레이스에서 6조 원 이상의 거래가 발생하면서 수수료 수익으로 큰 성과를 냈습니다. 엑시 인피니티의 성공은 레이어1인 로닌 네트워크의 성공으로 이어졌고, 프로젝트 가치는 상장 후 FDV 기준으로 3조 원 이상이 되었습니다. 하지만 토큰 홀더들은 이 수혜를 받지 못했습니다. 로닌 네트워크의 가격 차트를 보면, 상장 후 몇 개월 만에 가격이 10분의 1로 하락한 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 이는 게임, 체인, 토큰 홀더 간의 이해관계가 맞지 않았기 때문입니다. 수익을 본 재단은 토큰 홀더들에게 이익을 분배하지 않았고, 이로 인해 새로운 사람들이 토큰을 매수하지 않으며, 기존 홀더들이 토큰을 팔기만 하면서 가격이 끊임없이 하락한 것입니다. 2. 결국, 게임 생태계의 문제는? 결국, 게이밍 생태계의 핵심은 '이해관계'를 일치시키는 것입니다. 게임, 체인, 토큰 홀더 모두가 성공에 기여한 만큼 정당한 이익 배분을 받아야만 추가적인 홀더들이 들어올 수 있습니다. 게임과 체인은 결국 사용자들에게 투자 상품이기 때문에, 이는 당연한 이치입니다. 그러나 지난 몇 년 동안 게임 생태계는 재단과 밸리데이터들의 이익을 위한 '기울어진 운동장'이었습니다. 여담이지만, 디파이(DeFi) 분야에서는 '이해관계'를 일치시켜야 한다는 목소리가 비교적 빨리 나왔습니다. GMX, dYdX 같은 성공한 프로젝트들은 수수료 수익의 50~100%를 토큰 홀더에게 배분하면서 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 이해관계가 맞춰지니 신규 토큰 홀더들이 모여들고, 결과적으로 모두가 행복한 상황을 맞이하게 됩니다. 어차피 토큰을 가장 많이 보유한 주체는 재단이기 때문에, 이러한 구조는 회사의 지속 가능성도 높일 수 있습니다. 블록체인 시장에서는 이를 '리얼 일드(Real Yield)'라고 부릅니다. 3. Tabi의 해결책은? @Tabichain 게임 생태계도 디파이처럼 ‘이해관계’를 일치시켜야 ‘지속 가능한’ 게임 생태계를 만들 수 있다고 주장합니다. 그래서 타비는 모든 수익을 토큰 홀더, 게임 개발자, 밸리데이터에게 공평하게 분배하겠다는 비전과 함께 '게이밍 레이어1'을 출시했습니다. 이는 게임 생태계에서 '리얼 일드' 사례를 만드는 것입니다. 자세히 살펴보면 다음과 같습니다.
