I don’t know whose idea it was to do The Passion Of Jesus in London Trafalgar Square on Good Friday, but I’d like to shake their hand. Whether you’re religious or not, there are many demonstrations that go on there, but a demonstration of love is a lot nicer than the usual ones.

49.59s!!!!🤯🤯 World Lead ☑️ Ella Onojuvwevwo 🇳🇬 has just gone out to a blistering 49.59s over 400m at the Battle on the Bayou in Louisiana! The fastest time run by a Nigerian woman since Falilat Ogunkoya since 1998 when she ran 49.52s. Also the first Nigerian woman to break 50 seconds in the event since 1999. What a performance!!

An American doctor calmed a crying baby in seconds using a method he claims works everywhere in the world. Do you think this will work on Nigerian babies?

To every Nigerian parent in the UK, this is a moment for reflection and action. We must sit down with our children and have honest, deep, and sometimes uncomfortable conversations. They need to understand the real consequences of getting involved in gangs: it only leads down two paths and that’s prison or death. Nothing good comes from it. The culture of postcode and turf wars in London is destroying young lives and futures. This cycle must stop. At the same time, authorities must take proactive steps to keep our streets safe. The presence of effective policing, including stop and search where necessary, can play a role in prevention and protection. Let’s protect our children. Let’s guide them. Let’s not wait until it’s too late. Enough is enough.

Was in Qatar 🇶🇦 with my wife, so we stepped out of the hotel to explore the city at night. By the time we got to the cruise spot, only one boat was left cus others had already taken off. The owner said if I didn’t want to wait for more people, I could pay and have the whole boat to ourselves. So I went for it. We ended up cruising the night, blasting some dope music just me and my wife. He even let me drive the boat. After that, we took a long walk to find some Naija food 😍 That breeze 💯

I attended a Hausa Christian wedding in Kano recently, and honestly, it felt less like stepping into something “different” and more like rediscovering something deeply familiar. The language, the laughter, the rhythm of the gathering, everything felt like home. The groom’s uncles still sat with that quiet authority, nodding in approval. The aunties still ran the show behind the scenes, making sure everything moved smoothly while pretending not to be in charge. And of course, the friends, loud, playful, and fully committed to turning every moment into a celebration. At some point, I had to remind myself, “Wait, this is a Christian wedding,” because beyond the church service itself, you could easily mistake it for any Hausa wedding you’ve ever attended. The attire? Impeccable. Flowing gowns, neatly tailored kaftans, gele tied with precision, and that unmistakable northern elegance. The food? Generous, spicy, and served with pride. The music? Oh, the music still carried that familiar Hausa soul, even when the lyrics leaned more toward gospel. What struck me most was how culture quietly held everything together. Faith shaped the ceremony, yes, but culture shaped the feeling. The respect for elders, the structured greetings, the importance of family, the communal joy, these things didn’t change. Even the jokes were the same. Someone teasing the groom. Someone negotiating playfully on behalf of the bride. Someone cracking that one joke that makes the entire gathering erupt in laughter. You could close your eyes and know exactly where you were, not by religion, but by identity. It was a beautiful reminder that we are, in many ways, cut from the same cloth. Same traditions, same values, same sense of community, just expressed through different spiritual paths. And maybe that’s the real takeaway: beneath the labels and differences, we are far more alike than we often admit. Same people, same roots, just different ways of saying our prayers. I left with a full stomach, a light heart, and a quiet thought lingering in my mind: if more of us experienced moments like this, we might spend less time focusing on what separates us and more time celebrating what already binds us together. Green is the official colour 💚

Shocking. Pope Leo XIV just personally dragged the Cross for ALL 14 Stations at the Colosseum himself. This is the first time since 1994. The Church might actually be waking up.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: Conflicting reports from the alleged search area in southern Iran. Tasnim claims airstrikes are targeting the zone where the missing pilot is believed to be, alleging an attempt to prevent capture. Simultaneously, American helicopters are reportedly flying with flares near Shahrekord searching for the crew member. One report says rescue. The other says something far darker. Both are unconfirmed. The only certainty is that an American is still on the ground and both sides are racing to reach them first. Source: Tasnim (Unconfirmed), @Middle_East_Spectator
