@FetchStep @SerkanTheWriter Ridiculous decision. It’s our gas and we’re in a crisis situation and the gas companies will be creaming a motza from what should be a windfall for all Australians. @AlboMP seriously please pick up your game.

Credit where credit is due. Hearing off McGrath locking all players in the rooms and thrashing it out is great leadership and also ownership. I really hope the players stand up this week and back their captain and coach Surely self pride kicks in

@AofahKoff Most likely the wasted asset owners are agitating, lobbying and funding this kick back. Aided & abetted by the LNP, Murdoch and the RW media it has been a consistent campaign to either stop renewables devlt, as in Qld, or slow it down nationally.

Why is it, that all through Europe there are wind turbines right across the landscape. All of the people I have spoken to about them, don't have an issue with them and say they hardly notice them. So why is there so much contempt for them, here in Australia.

@Bombers_Boss I don’t think so. He gives his all and is quite good. But he’s obviously not a ruckman in this league. Pity we didn’t pitch for one last year.

@essendonfc @HoMedics Are they fit enough & if not they’re much more prone to injury. Balance would also be affected. And being slow off the mark means they are tackled easier than otherwise wld be the case. I don’t think I’ve seen many players sprint that 1st 5 mts out of the contest. Preseason?

@SilentGhost263 The stats lie our eyes see the truth. Caldwell has never been a consistent player. Merrett is another whose stats don’t tell the full story.

Jye Caldwell with the most deceptive statline i've ever seen, was probably in our bottom 10 players but topped a bunch of stats and went at a far better efficiency on paper than you'd guess. this applies to most of our mids but Jye in particular.

i encourage people to watch this, Brad flatly lambasts the players (deservedly) and takes ownership himself. none of the soft 'learnings' of before, 'we sucked and gave up'. flat out. Words are only that, has to back it up with action but this is the right attitude to start.

@AFLNow Players aren’t playing for the coach because he’s not inspirational and obviously can’t communicate. He should ring Hardwick and ask him about what he did to win his players trust?

Brad Scott blaming the players. Singling out Caddy who was our best. Gosh. This is turmoil! Using the word’s demoralising etc.. I don’t see a team who actually knows what the system is. Total breakdown in every aspect of the game. What turns this around?

@essendonfc @PaloAltoNtwks I just watched the Eagles v Roos match, and the skills exhibited by both sides put our boys to shame. Scott would do well to make the team sit thru the replay or highlights reel to show what skills are needed to play the game today.

Brad Scott on his message to Essendon fans after THAT loss. “I have said this for three years, I am never going to tell Essendon fans to be patient. I reckon 25 years is long enough to hear the same message but if I am an Essendon fan I watch the character of these players and particularly the younger players who will make them proud one day. As frustrating as it is, good clubs stick together. You can give up or you can fight. I believe in these guys and think they are made of the right stuff.” @FOXFOOTY

@RonnyLerner AFL and broadcasters must be very concerned watching this. Clubs down the bottom that are uncompetitive and unwatchable at this stage of the year is a major headache. Imagine when we get to June, July and August..

If Essendon’s biggest strength is their midfield, as has been suggested, then they are in more trouble than previously thought. They’re being embarrassed for the second week in a row. Port leading inside 50s 21-4 and clearances 13-4 at quarter-time #AFLPowerDons
