Unpopular opinion(s) - another ENS marketplace will not bring more people to ENS and will not help you sell your bags. Vision can and will pick up the pace but it is not the crucial link that will increase the value and demand for your names. It was and will be a great tool and had some influence on the market but not major, but not so significant to turn things around. 99% of end users don't care about utility, especially if that word "utility" is being shoved in their faces as the main narrative all the time. Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS). Simple, fast, reliable, cheap. We live in the attention economy, the attention span of an average user is 5-10 sec. How do you "educate" someone about "utility" in 5-10 sec ? You can't. What you can do, for secondary ENS is adapt the narrative to a more superficial, doomscrolling, social flexing audience we have today. Social narrative, "the hype" and "the flex" is what today is considered attractive. ( I am NOT referring to ridiculous replies and shills, it is 99% counterproductive, same as public attacks to ENS core development or ENS DAO structures and politics, I am not saying they are perfect, far from it, just saying that open attacks to any part of ENS harms everyone, directly or indirectly ). Good thing is, ENS is almost 100% decentralized protocol, you don't need the DAO or Labs. Nobody is here 100% "just for the tech", everyone wants to extract some value, one way or another (unless you are deep in 8-9 figures and just playing around). THAT is the truth, whether you like it or not. We, the ENS fam and/or squatters got stuck in a bubble. There are millions of subdomain username users on base.eth, linea.eth, uni.eth and they don't know and don't care for any deeper value, meaning or utility. If we can get 0.1% of those users intrigued to dig deeper into the core of .eth we would 3-5x the whole .eth secondary market. The whole ENS and NFT market follows ETH and every L2 acts pretty much based on the ETH movements. We will get an NFT and ENS bull run when ETH begins to fall down from the ATH and the peak of it's market cycle. Larger part of ETH community doesn't know ENS, some of them own but don't understand what it is. Not even Vitalik's permanent flex on socials is enough to boost the interest. I have been to so many ETH conferences and met a lot of people owning but not understanding ENS or even vaguely heard of ENS. Long term real marketing strategy from ENS core and some flexibility, acceptance and understanding of ENS secondary market (from all "sides" of ENS, not just DAO or Labs) can bring a lot of good to absolutely everyone involved in ENS from any PoV.
