I'll argue this with anyone. The visuals in #StrangerThings back in 2017 were on a completely different level compared to what we got in Season 5, nearly a decade later...

@StrangerNews11 i mean its almost like they had some sort of connection and just gave up mid way like, he took 12 kids in season 5, 12 numbers on a clock, seems like they just couldnt be bothered to dig into that part

So… why did Season 4 have so many clocks if none of them mattered in the finale? 😭

@StrangerNews11 back then it seemed like the abyss was the upside down and henry just like formed it into what he saw as the "perfect world", making him seem so much more powerful that he could take control of an alien planet, yet another better storyline they shouldve followed

The Abyss in Season 4 was far superior: darker, more alien, more foreboding, and packed with demogorgons.

@StrangerNews11 seemed like the focus was more on them graduating no? more time went into that than the fight

The Duffer Brothers say there was a three-hour version of the #StrangerThings5 finale, which was never written. One early idea involved the characters coming across a massive field of Demogorgon eggs in the Abyss, but it was dropped to avoid “demo fatigue” and keep the focus on Vecna and the Mind Flayer.
