Many times God allows trials and tribulations in our lives so we may draw closer to him. Just as God was with Daniel in the lions den he is with us in every battle. We are being prepared for greatness. He prepared king David while he was running for his life and hiding in caves. He blinded Paul until he was ready to see God as his source of sight. Our trials will lead us to an abundant life of effective and everlasting ministry. This will happen as we allow God to carve into our character a true reflection of him while we are in the fire where our faith is being tested.
