These horrific events are happening in Africa. There is no concern or coverage at all. Selective humanitarian intervention and assistance well in operation.

Hi there @Pontifex Can you please watch this? It’s the heartbreaking testimony of Christian widows in the Middle Belt of Nigerias. They faced unspeakable violence as their loved one are butchered by Fulani jihadists. Thanks.

As an Iranian-born Australian who has lived here for more than four decades — two-thirds of my life — and built my family and life here, I face a dilemma. I escaped Iran during the 1980s, fleeing Islamists, jihadists, sharia laws, and the brutality, inflexibility and indiscriminate violence of the IRGC. I now find myself watching elements of what I ran from slowly, aggressively and systematically re-emerge. Living through this before, and understanding how this can unfold, is frightening. I can see many of my Australian compatriots are speaking out. But it is not enough. The silent majority of Australians, who I know are concerned but not vocal, need to act now before this gets out of control. We need to vote against policies that are not in the interests of our country. We must use the democratic process and the tools at our disposal to raise our voice and show our support. We have the democratic tools. We have a choice. We just need the will — and the clarity — to see what is best for this country. #AustraliaFirst

When European Unions and the European journalists are selectively choosing the narratives they want to believe. They don’t want to hear about the genocide in Iran. They don’t want to hear about the Christian genocide in Nigeria.
Reza Pahlavi@PahlaviReza

Whether or not Europe stands with us, whether or not your journalists do their jobs, whether or not your politicians demonstrate the courage to act, I will fight for my people and my country.

BREAKING: Anthony Albanese attacks Peta Credlin — and gets a FIERY response he won’t forget Anthony Albanese thought he could score cheap political points by calling Peta Credlin an “insult to Australian values” because the outspoken journalist is fiercely conservative and believes that government should prioritize everyday families over woke agendas. Unfortunately for "Each-Way Albo," he picked the wrong person. Speaking directly to her Sky News audience, Peta Credlin didn’t just clap back — she delivered a fierce political reckoning. “The Prime Minister of Australia just said that I insult Australian values,” Peta Credlin began. “You want to know what insults Australian values? Crushing working families with a cost-of-living crisis while breaking promises on tax cuts.” And that was only just the start. “You know what insults Australian values?” she continued. “Spending hundreds of millions on a divisive Voice referendum while ignoring the very real crime crises in our regional communities.” Then she went even further — taking aim at energy policies, union corruption, and hypocrisy. “You know what insults our values? Destroying our reliable energy grid and sending our manufacturing industry off to die in the name of a reckless net-zero agenda… Turning a blind eye to union thuggery and dragging their feet on holding the CFMEU bosses accountable.” This wasn’t just another evening broadcast. This was a full-on political indictment. Peta Credlin — who has been criticized by the Canberra bubble for speaking hard truths and challenging mainstream narratives — flipped the script entirely. Instead of backing down, she grounded her message in the very "fair dinkum" values Albanese tried to weaponize. “I am not perfect,” she said. “But I know what real leadership and fundamental fairness look like in this country.” And then came the line that hit hardest: “Labor tells us they govern for the working class… Can we imagine a strong nation with no manufacturing? Can we imagine a prosperous society where families can't afford to turn on their heaters? Can we imagine a united country divided by race? Then why do we tolerate these things under this government?” That’s how you respond. Not with cheap shots. Not with spin. But with clarity — and conviction. Albanese tried to smear her. Instead, Peta Credlin delivered words that are now echoing far beyond Canberra.

A couple was helping injured protesters. The regime burst in, killed the woman in front of her husband and their child. Then they desecrated her body and sent the images to her husband. Shattered by the horror, he took his own life. Somehow we are negotiating with these people! #IranMassacre

@PeterRalphBooks @AlboMP 42 years ago I arrived in Australia under Hawke’s humanitarian program. I made Australia my home and I never gone back. This is my home that I am watching being destroyed. I act with my vote and voice.

There are those who compare him with Hawke. Like comparing a cheap plastic bag with Hermes. There is not one Cabinet member who would've made it into Hawke's cabinet ... unless it was to serve the coffee. Still, that was when Labor was for the working person rather than the elites.

Overnight, I joined a virtual Leaders' Summit on the Strait of Hormuz co-hosted by President Macron and Prime Minister Starmer. Australia has consistently called for an end to this conflict. The longer the war goes on, the more significant the impact on the global economy will be, and the greater the human cost. Australians are feeling the impact on fuel supply and prices and we are working to shield families from the worst of it. Australia stands ready to support efforts to restore stability and security in the Strait of Hormuz and I welcome the announcement overnight of the Strait’s reopening. We want to see this hold.

The Iranian regime is sentencing a woman to death for participating in the January 2026 anti-government protests in Tehran. Human rights organizations say that Bita Hemmati will be the first female protester executed in response to the uprising, along with three others.

🚨 Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and regime insiders are tied to over 500 luxury apartments in Istanbul’s Maslak - one of the most expensive districts in Turkey. A shocking investigation by Turkish reporters, dubbed “Irangate,” found that the Islamic Republic’s Speaker of Parliament and regime elites have been buying up luxury real estate: ⚪️ 500 of 1,500 units owned by Iranians ⚪️ Ministers and regime families buying dozens more While Iranians struggle, regime elites move their wealth abroad. Ghalibaf is widely considered one of the most corrupt officials in the Islamic Republic, linked to major embezzlement cases, financial scandals, and long-standing abuse of power.
The Iran Watcher 🇮🇷@TheIranWatcher

🚨 Ghalibaf embodies the regime’s brutality and corruption and should never be negotiated with. It is reported that President Trump is negotiating with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and calling this “regime change.” It is definitely not. Ghalibaf is not just another official - he is a product and enforcer of the regime’s darkest machinery: ⚪ IRGC insider from the Iran-Iraq war with deep ties to Khamenei, Soleimani, and the regime’s inner circle ⚪ Signed the 1999 letter threatening a coup against Iran’s own president if student protests were not crushed ⚪ As police chief, oversaw brutal crackdowns, arrests of journalists, and violent suppression of protesters ⚪ On record boasting about ordering forces to fire on student demonstrators ⚪ Long history of corruption scandals, widely labeled “the most corrupt commander” inside Iran ⚪ Linked to multi-billion dollar embezzlement cases and protected from prosecution by regime connections ⚪ Accused of using public office to enrich himself and his network while ordinary Iranians suffer ⚪ Key figure in consolidating hardline power and strengthening IRGC control over the state ⚪ Loyal to Khamenei and central to enforcing ideological control, including morality laws and repression ⚪ Represents the fusion of military power, corruption, and authoritarian rule inside the regime This is not a reformer or technocrat. This is the system itself, and it does not represent change. With Ghalibaf in power, the same structure of repression, corruption, and regional aggression remains intact, and the threat posed by the Islamic Republic regime continues to extend beyond Iran to the region and the world. Now that Trump has reportedly legitimized him, he will continue the Islamic Republic’s brutal repression at home and its militant expansionist agenda abroad.
