Indian "Secularism" is just state enforced universalism. Secularism means that the state keeps out of religion, and one where citizens can think WHATEVER they want. This is not Secularism, this is the state enforcing its false belief that all religions are equal and true

A single practice must be followed for uniformity, and since majority of the army are Hindus, Hindu practices are followed. If you think other faiths are so inferior, you have no place in the Indian army.

@IndoKatholic @Island_Thought @Ankita_Puneri If I was serving in a military and was ordered to just stand in a church and watch what was going on passively, I would have no problem doing it for the sake of military decorum. When religious chest thumping takes a higher priority than decorum, action is warranted.

@IndoKatholic @Island_Thought @Ankita_Puneri If he was ordered to actively participate in any religious activity and he refused, that is fine. He should not have been dismissed for it. But refusing to even enter a temple and stand there, even though a pastor told him it was fine crosses a line, especially in the military.
