@DanielHagerOn3 I agree, but our bats have been cold in so many series this year it's hard to be super optimistic. Still rooting, still watching, still have my season tickets -- but it's hard to watch these types of games.

@SeanRossSapp @AndrewBaydala Feels like TNA overreacted and are trying to shoot themselves in the foot.
AEW/ROH is the biggest provider of known talent to indie shows that can pay per appearance. This policy is pitting TNA against their own wrestlers and taking money out of their pockets.

@AndrewBaydala That's not the issue. It's facing AEW specifically. TNA doesn't pay talent enough to keep them from indies.

It's not a good look, but it's something WWE has done for a LONG time.
They do not, for the most part, allow their contracted talent to work independent shows.
I believe #TNA is being told to adhere to the same thing.

New: First independent poll of the KY-04 GOP primary has Massie up ~10, but short of a majority, against Trump-endorsed Ed Gallrein.
Quantus Insights pegged the race at: Massie 47.4%, Gallrein 36.8%.

Even a B/C pollster shouldn’t break a 4-5% MoE without a stupidly flawed methodology.
Safe to say it’s a solid lead but certainly not an insurmountable gap.
The only person winning on Ed’s side are the guys getting points on media buys.

With that said, I do think the result is credible.
I (and the Massie camp) do not expect this to be a blowout given the financial & political resources thrown against him (despite Ed being a bad candidate). I will gladly take a win by 1 vote.

The Not So Special Ed campaign:
Avoid any debate
Get other Trump sycophants to stage meet & greets for him:
-Do a show and tell with various military awards and --misuse SEAL iconography
-Pretend he runs Gallrein Farms, rather than a small horse boarding operation
-Talk about what a good guy Trump is
-Promise he will not do any thinking for himself
Let Lacivita handle the dirty money and smear ads
Do rambling (all that to say) radio puff pieces about any topic but his ideas, so he can avoid talking about ANY free thinking policy proposals
Hope Trump adjacency, journalistic laziness in not covering his bad reputation & leaving the party, and billionaire smear ads are enough to hoist his warm body, limp campaign up over the fence.

🚩 Ed Gallrein's campaign tried to stop a person from recording the speech he was giving at a Dairy Queen. 🚩 Thomas Massie's opponent and candidate for Kentucky's 4th Congressional District, Ed Gallrein, apparently doesn't want people to see the speeches he gives in public places. The campaign has since reached out to the person recording and apologized for trying to stop him. What kind of campaign doesn't want as many people as possible to see their speeches? This wasn't a private event—it was held at a Dairy Queen. The whole purpose of these events is to get as many people as possible to hear what you have to say... or at least I thought so. When you couple this with Gallrein's refusal to participate in any debate or forum with Massie, it should leave voters asking why his campaign is doing the bare minimum to even appear like it's campaigning. Generally, campaigns aren't supposed to be this subtle. I have actually heard a Gallrein speech myself, and I do know why they're doing it. Let's just say "coherent" and "sound policy" are not the words that come to mind. Video Credit: David Wright

When I was building spacecraft, one of our engineers would stand behind us while we were laying wire harnesses and read from the Bible.
We would sometimes pray before a large operation. He brought his Bible into the cleanroom and privately prayed over a vehicle before we sent it into test.
I'm pretty sure he prayed over the Orion that is being flown on Artemis II as well. The Orion team was just as religious, if not more religious, than we were.
We are "the science" and we're glad Astronaut Glover is as faithful as us.

@TristanUda I disagree. The Blue Bloods have the highest standards and the most pressure; you need the right candidate to want to walk into that situation - not "any" candidate.
People getting paid and not wanting it doesn't change the prestige; it shows the height of the bar.

The UK & UNC job openings show that Blue Bloods don't have the allure they once did.
Yes, those programs still carry prestige and history, but the gap between them and the rest of CBB is much smaller. With that smaller gap, fewer coaches want to take on that added pressure.
