I once felt a strong urge to call this girl I know, I didn't know where the urge was coming from because I have been intentionally avoiding her because every time she called me it was always to ask for money. The last time she called, it was the same thing. She requested for money but I refused to give her because she was yet to pay back the one she borrowed before then. Now back to this my urge to call her. On this fateful day, I decided to call her and she told me she was in Uyo, I didn't even know she had moved to Uyo because she was living in another town with her fiance(They had already done their introduction). I requested for her address and promised to visit her over the weekend. When I saw her, the first thing I noticed was that her weight had reduced drastically, she was also not her usual very cheerful self. When I probed, she finally let everything out. Apparently she moved out of the house she shared with her fiance because he impregnated two women and even went ahead to move some furniture from the house to furnish a new apartment he had rented for one of the baby mamas. Added to this, she was in serious debt and didn't know where to start because she's out of a job. The so-called fiance used her phone and details to borrow 600k from loan apps, plus other small amounts she was owing people here and there. This explained why she always asked for money each time she called me. According to her, the guy has not tried to reach out to her since she moved out, and she later heard he's even planning his marriage to one of the baby mamas, the one he rented an apartment for. She said she almost ran mad and the parents had to rent her an apartment in Uyo, far from the guy. She has also decided not to make any trouble but to leave the guy's judgment in God's hands. Omo I didn't even know how to console her, women are really going through a lot.
