Huge thanks for @AlexanderGrooff for making github.com/AlexanderGroof… Our ASCII renderer is a direct port + extension of his work from Go to TypeScript - and even more importantly it demonstrated to us that doing this is actually possible!

Diagrams are becoming my primary way of reasoning about code with Agents. And I didn't find anything there that I'm happy to look at all day long. Mermaid as a format is amazing - so we built something beautiful on top of it. It's called Beautiful Mermaid agents.craft.do/mermaid

Disappointing rug-pull from @Hetzner_Online on included bandwidth. 20TB to 1TB is a huge change for people that may have chosen them for their previously generous tiers.

I made a thing, check it out! It's something that surprised me every time I had to deal with Mermaid diagrams that this didn't exist yet. Mermaid diagrams on CLI: mermaid-ascii.art

@domenkozar This is exactly what’s preventing me from fully committing to Nix. Everything I have to override LD_LIBRARY_PATH for whatever Python package I die a little inside

As part of devenv.sh rewrite, I'm examining all the challenges we face supporting Python, and finding that discovering dynamic libraries is a major pain point. Libraries like cffi+cairo rely on invoking gcc/ld_config to discover .so files at runtime, which doesn't work with Nix at all. The typical solution is to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH, which often leads to various issues, such as glibc incompatibilities, etc. Ideally, Python would use pkg-config to determine where the libraries are installed if it wants to load them at runtime. Packaging tools like poetry could include a section in pyproject.toml that describes required libraries during configuration and offers a runtime querying API to access the packaging metadata.
Domen Kožar@domenkozar

Is there anyone working on pkgconfig support in pyproject.toml? Finding those ctypes.find_library calls in Python runtime is cringy.

One of the coolest things we ever built at @Hypernode_com is autohealing. It has had a huge impact on the amount of Magento on-call alerts on the platform. Here's a look behind the scenes for how that works: youtube.com/watch?v=78PCDQ…

@mattrothenberg Is it possible to create a fork/wrapper/plugin on top of this, in a similar fashion as you did with the ‘gh?’ command? Would be great to be able to extend this!
