Just had my pre-op consultation with one of the Breast Care Specialist nurses She went through practicalities and then gifted me this handmade heart shaped cushion. As pretty as it is, it’s actually a padded support for post surgery for under my arm or beneath the seatbelt 1/3

Huw Edwards says he recognises "the hurt he has done to those who appear in such images." This hurt is a child being revictimised every time the images are looked at. This hurt is the abuse they experienced while the images were being taken. This hurt is the shame and fear of others seeing these images in the future. This is not a victimless crime, and neither is the impact time-limited. It is vital that we start having real conversations about how we stop this from continuing to happen and how we support the children in the pictures to recover.
