As an avid CoD fanboy for about 13yrs now, I have to say I think this BO7 is the best they’ve released since BO2. Sure there are things left to improve on, but for release this is a really really good game. It nearly scratches that nostalgia itch. I’m not *just* saying this, either. In the past I’ve been known to be a very vocal critic of their product. Everything you said in this post is absolutely spot on, though. Especially the harsh criticism of their anti-cheat and how blatant cheaters roam free. Sadly I don’t even get confirmations anymore like I used to, which deflates my hopes. It’s never aimbot that I see, but the rampant and ignored use of ESP/Wallhacks. They have definitely lost sight of what made them great once, but I feel like they *may* be returning. Time will tell for sure but, in the mean time we can see.

Black Ops 7 was the first CoD game I didn’t have an ounce of excitement for. The franchise has become so soulless because of greedy executives. The only word I can feel as a once avid player is that I felt disrespected? Felt like Activision executives thought they could get away with anything. The ridiculous fail of anti-cheat over 5 years and lying saying it’s improving. BlackCell Battle Pass upgrades for ridiculous prices. Selling bundles on individual guns to squeeze out as much money as possible. The failure in how they handled the entire Warzone franchise and filling it with bloat. I could go on forever. It’s just a shame. Thousands of talented developers forced to rush and release things they don’t agree with because of executive greed. It’s cliché but I really do miss what Call of Duty once was.
