Dear Autsy, I think I’m probably #autistic & am on a 3yr waiting list. I fully accept other people self dx but just can’t do it for myself, I need that official dx. It leaves me so confused - how I cope will differ depending on whether I am autistic. How do others cope?

Dear Autsy, I often read it's an autistic trait to be direct in communication and focus on factual aspects. But could it also be an autistic trait to be very unsure in interactions and unsure if others are being direct or indirect?
