Entirely possible Morgan Rogers’ move to Arsenal accelerates WHILE the World Cup is going on. All parties know what he wants so there’s no real reason it needs to be on hold.

Who is surprised that with all the resources that NSWE no doubt have - political, legal, financial that they haven’t pushed against the financial regulations in the PL and Europe around anti-competitiveness? Nor have they found other clubs who feel the same who could join a legal challenge?

@AvfcRegan @TheCellsView Yeah its a really harsh punishment but its what we agreed to after breaking the rules (we had a wagebill far beyond our revenue) and it was either that or face a full embargo and ban from european competition. One more season and we can rebuild.

@AvfcRegan @TheCellsView So this is where its interesting. Say his remaining book value was like 5m and his wages 100k a week. Even if we sell him for 200m, the player we bring in cant be more than the 5m and 100k a week or they could but they couldnt be registered for CL.

@AvfcRegan @TheCellsView Well we can only spend what we free up basically. The money freed up by sancho for example allows us to bring in a player on 100k a week and a fee of maybe 25 to 30m. Because his salary was over 10m a year. (The fee is amortised). Martinez would be a big saving as well.

@AvfcRegan @TheCellsView This season it was 80% but the issue for us isnt SCR its an additional agreement we made with UEFA that our Uefa A list that we submit this year cant have a higher squad cost that the one we submitted back in feb 1/2
