Serious question for knowledgeable soccer fans. Is there any country you have seen play so far in the World Cup that you think no way the US team could hang with?

Imagine all the crying if the USA actually took Soccer seriously and dominated it like we do everything else. Europe, Brazil and Argentina just wouldn't be able to handle it.

They are MUCH MUCH better than any other 2nd or 3rd place teams, and if we win our group BUT get stuck playing them first, then winning the group was a punishment

The @USMNT has now clinched its group. You truly couldn’t have scripted a better first 9 days of the tournament (aside from Pulisic being banged up). You now can sit everyone who is on a Yellow, give Pulisic more time to heal & get ready for the KO Rounds. Just ideal.

I might be the only American left with this point of view, but soccer is a horribly boring sport with hardly any scoring. I'd rather watch tennis and I don't give a damn about the world cup. Baseball is exciting by comparison.

واحدة من أغرب وأعبث لقطات كأس العالم حصلت بعد مباراة قطر اليوم 👀 بعد نهاية المباراة ، مدرب كندا احتفل مع الجماهير بشكل طبيعي جدًا ، خصوصًا بعد فوز تاريخي بنتيجة 6-0 واقتراب منتخب بلاده من التأهل. 🔥 لكن المفاجأة إن لوبتيغي مدرب قطر راح يعاتبه على طريقة الاحتفال! المدرب الكندي نفسه كان مستغرب من الموقف، وشاور له باستغراب قبل ما يمشي ، وكأنه بيقوله: "هو أنا عملت إيه؟" 😅 بصراحة، لما تكسب 6 أهداف في مباراة بكأس العالم ، من الطبيعي جدًا تفرح مع جمهورك. واضح إن الهزيمة الثقيلة كانت صعبة على لوبتيغي... لدرجة إنها أنتجت واحدة من أغرب لقطات البطولة حتى الآن. 😳
