Learn to live cheap and debt free outside of your mortgage. Build an emergency savings that can cover you for at least 6 months. Invest money into a ROTH IRA each paycheck. Also if your company has a 401k with a match, get the match. Money and investments need time to accrue. Compound interest is crazy.
