Anyone who was raised by Black boomers on up, knows how stubborn they can be and many just like control. This not to say they did not mean well, but at a certain point you got to step back and let the younger generation take over

I think my only issue with the old guard of the black political elite is that they held onto power for so long and did not create enough protégés to take over. Which in turn caused many in the community to take such rights for granted.
